ChipShine
Our History
ChipShine started with two things: over eight years in corporate America, and an economics background that never stopped asking what things actually cost when they fail.
David Urdaneta spent his career in finance and data analytics, close to the infrastructure that keeps large organizations running, and constantly thinking in terms of asset value: what equipment is worth, what it costs to replace, and how much of that cost is preventable through basic care.
Server rooms and data centers are full of six and seven figure equipment sitting in conditions; dust, poor cable management, blocked airflow that quietly shorten its life. Nobody's job is to notice that. ChipShine exists to be the company whose job it is.
Who we are
Our Values
No guessing with your equipment.
An unlabeled cable, an ambiguous box near the panel, a run with no documentation these are decision points, not obstacles to work around. We stop, we confirm, we document before we act. That discipline isn't caution for its own sake it's a direct recognition that a wrong assumption in a live server environment can trigger failures that dwarf the cost of a two-minute confirmation call.
Transparency with the client.
Every job includes photo documentation before and after work begins, a written scope agreed in advance, and clear flagging of anything that falls outside ChipShine's remit electrical issues, fire safety concerns, re-termination needs. We don't quietly work around problems. If we find something that isn't ours to fix, we tell you directly so the right person can handle it before it becomes a larger issue.
